I have listened to every known musical style since the 1960s, and have played keyboards of nearly all types. I have played in bands and solo gigs of all kinds from then until now. I started playing the big Hammond organ in the Jimmy Smith era and started with popular music, jazz, blues, and rock in the context of music of those times.

As the years have rolled by, I have become more involved with electronic synthesizer instruments and computer-based recording, mixing, and production of music. While I still think and play in the context of the Hammond organ and electric piano of the past, I am more and more drawn by the sounds and recording  process of today and beyond.

I am convinced that new age music and space music can act as healing music. That is, electronic synthesizer music can be used to create an atmosphere of peace and healing. I have experienced this kind of healing from the music of many people, and I have created the Deep Beach CD collection of songs as a wonderful way to share this experience with others.
